Overview

Short on time but longing for the desert? This two-day escape trades the Marrakech medina for the palm-lined Draa Valley and a night under the Zagora stars — the quickest way to feel the Sahara without a long haul south.

You'll cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass, walk the film-set kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, and ride a camel into the dunes for a Berber dinner and drums around the fire.

Good to Know

Is two days enough to see the desert?

It's the shortest desert trip we offer and perfect if you're pressed for time. For the taller Erg Chebbi dunes and a slower pace, consider our 3-day Merzouga tour instead.

Is it a round trip back to Marrakech?

Yes — you start and finish in Marrakech. We can also end elsewhere or extend the trip; just ask.

What are the Zagora camps like?

Comfortable Berber tents with real beds and shared or private facilities, a dining tent and a campfire. Luxury upgrades are available.
