The quickest way to trade the Fès medina for the Sahara. In just two days you'll cross the Middle Atlas cedar forests, descend the palm-lined Ziz Valley and ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a night beneath a sky full of stars.

Leave Fès through alpine Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest (wild macaques), then descend the dramatic Ziz Valley to Merzouga. A sunset camel trek leads to your desert camp — dinner, drums and stars.

Sahara Sunrise · Return to Fès

Climb a dune for sunrise, ride the camels back for breakfast, then retrace the beautiful Ziz and Middle Atlas route back to Fès by evening.
